A two-week international training exercise was focused on improving both planning and executing processes in coordination of reconnaissance tasks, troops manoeuvres under high intensity conflict and gathering of intelligence findings using them in favour of the 7th Mechanised Brigade.
This week, throughout the Czech Republic, citizens and soldiers are celebrating the 73rd anniversary of the liberation of Czechoslovakia and Victory Day in Europe, and paying tribute to war heroes, American soldiers and the Red Army who advanced from the east and west to bring freedom to the country’s population after enduring five years of war.

Over 100 soldiers from the 151st Engineer Battalion and the 4th Rapid Deployment Brigade have concluded a ten-day training exercise in the handling, laying and demining of anti-tank mines. The exercise took place at the Boletice Military Training Area.
During her visit to the 22nd Helicopter Base in Namest nad Oslavou on 9th April, Minister of Defence Karla Slechtova provided a status update on the forthcoming purchase of 12 multipurpose helicopters at a meeting with base commanders.
