26.5.2017 •Every two years, the 21st Tactical Air Force Base at Caslav holds an Open Day to present the air and ground equipment of the Czech Armed Forces, and this year it opened its gates again to the public on 20th May. This traditional air show of dynamic and static displays continues to attract thousands of military and aviation enthusiasts.

12.5.2017 •Last week, the team from the 102nd Reconnaissance Battalion, based in Prostejov, returned home after taking part in the five-day prestigious 9th Annual Warrior Competition. The competition was held at the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Centre in Amman, Jordan and came to an end on 4th May.

7.4.2017 •Monday 3rd April was a significant day for the NATO rotary wing door-gunners community. Ten door gunners from Croatia and the Czech Republic began their four-week language training, the Operational English Language Course for Door Gunners (OELC-DG).

31.3.2017 •Up to 70 air and ground soldiers from the 22nd Helicopter Air Force Base at Namest nad Oslavou, and operating Mil Mi-24/35 and Mil Mi-171S helicopters, participated in a three-week allied exercise at the Hohenfels Training Area in Germany.

26.3.2017 •To commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Czech Signal Troops, the Communication and Information Systems Agency and the Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association held a two-day Conference in Prague earlier this week.

19.3.2017 •The specialists of the 314th Weapons of Mass Destruction Warning Centre simulated a sudden rise in radiation on all measurement points at 16 military bases on 15th March morning. The dosimetric level of 500 µSv/h resulted in activation of the Military Radiation Monitoring Net.

10.3.2017 •The three-day meeting of military chaplains, called for by the Chief Chaplain, Colonel Jaroslav Knichal, was held this week at the Educational Training Centre in the impressive Komorni Hradek Castle, Chocerady.
