23.4.2012 •In the spirit of the slogan “If to fight together, we must train together”, twelve Czech and Croatian soldiers of helicopter crews train at the Mosnov Helicopter Training Point before their deployment in Afghanistan. The very first joint training started this week at the simulator, while practical training will be held in Croatia.

16.4.2012 •Czech Minister of Defence Alexandr Vondra and American diplomat Ron Asmus have received the Czech and Slovak Trans-Atlantic Award for their contribution to strenghtening transatlantic ties, peace, prosperity and stability within Euro-Atlantic area. The ceremony was held at the gala dinner of the Internatinal Security Conference GLOBSEC 2012 - Global Security Forum, held 12 - 14 April 2012 in Bratislava, Capital of the Slovak Republic.

9.4.2012 •Up to one billion Czech Crowns should save the Ministry of Defence by reduction of some administration works or by sharing some services with other governmental bodies. Minister of Defence Alexandr Vondra and Deputy Chief of the General Staff of ACR Major General Petr Pavel presented upcoming moves at the press conference on 3 April 2012.

18.3.2012 •The majority of patrols drives of the 9th Czech Provincial Reconstruction Team personnel outside the Shank Base in Afghan Logar is connected with escorting Czech civilian experts to project sites and to talks with local representatives.

11.3.2012 •Staff Warrant Officer Ludek Kolesa, who served for more than four years as Senior Non-Commissioned Officer at the NATO Allied Command Transformation, receives the highest NATO decoration. Only three Czechs received the same decoration so far.

4.3.2012 •The joint acquisition of equipment was one of conclusions from talks of General Vlastimil Picek, Chief of the General Staff, Armed Forces of the Czech Republic, and Major General Peter Vojtek, Chief of the General Staff, Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic, at Slovak towns of Cadca and Zilina during 29 February and 2 March 2012.
