The Czech officer, Major Radek M., assumed command of the 438th Air Expeditionary Advisory Squadron during a ceremony in Kabul last week. The squadron, which was renamed the 311th Air Expeditionary Advisory Squadron will continue in the tradition of the Czechoslovak 311th Bomber Squadron which courageously and successfully fought in the Royal Air Force during World War II.

Training scenario: A convoy of Czech and American soldiers based in Bagram (Afghanistan) sets out on a routine patrol. A bomb explodes under a vehicle. The convoy stops and the patrolmen ascertain the casualties and damage. They provide first aid, initiate evacuation procedures, and then carry on with their mission.
