5.8.2013 •There is no training break for soldiers during July and August. But not only training goes on, soldiers have also handed over the last of six temporary bridges to local authorities across the Czech Republic thus assisting people hit by June floods.

31.7.2013 •Minister of Defence of the Czech Republic Vlastimil Picek visits ceremonies remembering 60th anniversary of Korean Armistice Agreement and end of fighting at Korean War. 22.7.2013 •Military tests, conducted by Czech aviation security experts, confirmed last week the CASA C-295M transport aircraft of the Czech Air Force are able to safely fly over territories where they could be endangered by an air or ground attack.

15.7.2013 •For the second year in a row the Czech Republic hosts the allied Ramstein Rover exercise aiming at advance training and retaining skills of air crews, ground personnel and forward air controllers of 19 NATO armed forces. The Ramstein Rover 2013 will be held on and over the Czech territory from 2 September 2013 for three weeks.

1.7.2013 •Based on the White Paper on Defence issued 2011 and requirements for effective management and command of Czech military units, the two operational tactical headquarters - Joint Forces at Olomouc and Support Forces at Stara Boleslav - are dismantled as of 30 June 2013 and their command structures are being incorporated into the General Staff of ACR in Prague.
