2.11.2015 •The planned MASCAL exercise of the 15th Czech Surgical Team at the Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul developed into a real life rescue event last week. The training exercise was interrupted when a helicopter crashed near the airport and the surgical team had to administer medical aid to the injured soldiers, personnel and civilians on the ground.

20.10.2015 •On 15th October, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Andrej Babis, visited a military garrison in Praslavice in the Olomouc region. The visit was at the invitation of the Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Josef Becvar, and coincided with recent negotiations regarding an increase in the military budget over the next few years.

13.10.2015 •Minister of Defence Martin Stropnicky along with Chief of the General Staff of ACR Lieutenant General Josef Becvar announced on 9th October that selected military units will carry out a Deployment Readiness Test in order to support the Czech Republic‘s Police Force in managing the migration crisis.
