SPOT-55 is a special tracked fire fighting vehicle mounted on the chassis of T-55 tank manufactured at the Military Repair Corporation 025 in Nový Jičín. It is designed to fight any kind of fire in difficult terrain and in industrial conglomerations (besides forests, it can be engaged in power plants, oil refineries, surface mines or at gas pipelines).
This set is used for driving piles both in dry ground and water bottom to construct low wooden bridges.
This system provides support for armoured and mechanised units in the crossing of water streams and bodies. Bank armoured boards and water pontoons are transported on TATRA T-813 and T-815 trucks.
This system is designed to transport artillery pieces, tracked and wheeled tractors, armoured carriers, vehicles and personnel in water bodies and streams.
The boat, transported on a folding chassis SP-5, is designed to push and tow ships and floating bridges made of a PMS set of pontoon caissons.
