Armoured Personnel Carrier OT-64

This armoured wheeled amphibious carrier is a combat and transport vehicle used in mechanised, signal and special units. It was constructed in 1959 and jointly manufactured in Czechoslovakia and Poland, and was introduced into both of these armed forces in 1964. The carrier has been in use in many versions in terms of its weapons and additional equipment.

History: Tank T-72

The medium T-72 tank is a battle tracked vehicle with high cross-country manoeuverability. It is designed to destroy tanks and other armoured targets or enemy troops. It is equipped with a 125 mm cannon with a smooth barrel having the range of fire of 4,500 meters. With the use of a 12.7mm anti-aircraft machine gun, it is possible to attack low-flying targets. A 7.62 mm machine gun is coaxial with the cannon. Systems capable of protecting the crew against the effects of mass destruction weapons are incorporated within the tank.

The medium tank T-55/54 is a combat track vehicle, originally of the Russian make. The system was developed and produced in series in former USSR since 1955. From 1964, this tank was produced in Poland under the licence, a year later the production was launched also in Czechoslovakia.
