Czech International Air Fest on 2 – 3 September 2006

The International Airport in Brno hosted the 13th air festival – CIAF – during the first September weekend.

The largest air show of its kind in the Czech Republic that ranks to the most prestigious air events in Europe has presented military aircraft and skills of military pilots from 18 countries and NATO in flight and static displays.


The CIAF is traditionally held at the International Airport in Brno, South Moravia Region, south-eastern part of the country, and is organised by the Czech Airshow Agency, s.r.o., in co-operation with the South Moravia Region authority, the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic and the City of Brno with partnership of a number of Czech and international organisations, state and local government institutions, security, medical and organisational agencies.
