NATO ISAF Operation in Afghanistan |

ACR Task Force ISAF - The Czech Armed Forces Task Force in ISAF operation is a newly formed organisational unit, whose commander directly commands Czech units deployed at the Kabul International Airport and administratively controls the rest of Czech units serving elswhere in Afghanistan on ISAF operation. Units deployed in Kabul continue after reorganisation in work of three previous contingents.
Logar - Czech Provincial Reconstruction Team - The ACR have participated in the NATO International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan since 12 March 2004. Czechs contributed for three years to the German Provincial Reconstruction Team in Badakshan Province and on 19 March 2008 they opened their own PRT in Logar Province, south of Kabul. The Czech Parliament House of Deputies approved ACR initial participation in the operation for 2008 in November 2007 and prolonged it in March 2009 for current deployment.
Paktika - Czech Helicopter Unit - The ACR have participated in the NATO International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan since 12 March 2004. This is the first deployment of Czech helicopter air force in ISAF operation. The deployment is based on resolution of the Czech Government No. 100 as of 19 January 2009, resolution of the House of Deputies No. 985 as of 4 February 2009 and resolution of the Senate No. 99 as of 28 January 2009. The deployment itself started January 2010. |

The NATO-led Multinational Forces "Kosovo Force" (KFOR) began their operation on the territory of Kosovo on 12 June 1999 in implementation of the United Nations (UN) Security Council Resolution No. 1244 that was passed on 10 June 1999. International civil and security presence was deployed in Kosovo under UN auspices. Initially, the NATO-led multinational peacekeeping operation had a code name of Joint Guardian, but in April 2005 the operation was renamed to Joint Enterprise. |

The European Union Naval Force Operation has a UN mandate to protect vessels of the World Food Programme and to help deter, prevent and repress acts of piracy and armed robbery off the coast of Somalia. Its Operational Headquarters is in Northwood, the UK. The ATALANTA has been operational since 2008 with the mandate till the end of 2010. Among more than 20 countries participating in the operation, eight of them with 12 ships, there are three Czech officers serving at the Northwood Operation HQ. |

Czech soldiers have re-joined the Althea European Union peacekeeping mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina since 9th June 2010. Previously, Czech soldiers served on the mission from December 2004 to June 2008. |

MFO mission in the Sinai |

The Czech Republic joined the MFO - Multinational Force & Observers - in the Sinai by the CZECHCON (Czech Contingent) formed by three military observers on 17 November 2009. Their mission is to be accomplished in November 2010. The MFO in the Sinai comprises approximately 1660 military officers from 12 countries. The MFO`s mission is to provide force and observers to supervise the implementation of the 1979 Treaty of Peace between Egypt and Israel. |
