Shooting competition of Active Reserve

Autor: Oldrich Holecek

Reservists from Germany and U.S. Nebraska National Guard participated in a shooting competition of the Czech Active Reserve in West-Bohemian City of Pilsen this September.

The 10th Grand Prix of shooting competition confirmed excellent relations and good cooperation of Czech reservists with their colleagues from Germany and the United States.

The winning teams were from 73rd Tank Battalion at Praslavice, Military Police and American soldiers from Nebraska.

The top winner was the team from the Garrison Command Prague, composed of Lieutenant Colonel Pavel Kacl, Warrant Officer 3rd Class Lubos Chaloupka, and Sergeant Milan Vasek.

Organisers of the 11th Grand Prix in 2013 plan to make the competition more attractive by including new shooting events with CZ Phantom pistol and CZ 805 BREN assault rifle, and also by participation of Czech world's schooting champion Katerina Emmons, native of Pilsen.
