Invitation to NATO Days - Days of Czech Air Force held in Ostrava

Annual presentation of Czech Air Force and Land Forces equipment starts Friday 20 September 2013 with landing of An-124 Ruslan at the Ostrava Leos Janacek Airport which comes directly from Afghanistan to unload equipment of Czech troops within downsizing their presence in ISAF operation.

This event includes also presentation of military security equipment and a lot of dynamic and static displays.

The Czech military and the Military Police come to Ostrava with a full range of their flying and land equipment. Each year from 2001, this presentation draws crowds of military lovers and supporters.

More than 15 other nations confirmed their participation at the NATO Days to present their military and security equipment and their skills. Just to name a few of presented displays: air refuelling of two Czech SAAB 39 Gripen aircraft from a Swedish KC-130 Hercules tanker, joint fly-by flight of Czech and Slovak aircraft at the occasion of 20th anniversary of birth of both armed forces, acrobatic flight shows of Turkish and Spanish pilots, Swedish air show with historical aircraft.

The largest military-security two-day event in the central Europe is officially opened on Saturday 21 September 2013.
