4th ACR Unit - ISAF HELI UNIT, Paktika Province, Afghanistan

Czech ISAF HELI UNIT in Paktika

The Czech 4th ACR Unit started to serve in Paktika Province as the Task Force HIPPO and part of the American Helicopter Task Force FALCON. The units fulfil transportation tasks and observation missions in favour of commander of the ISAF Regional Command East.

Commander of the 4th ACR Unit:

Size of the Unit: 99 personnel, including 20 flying personnel.

Major equipment: three upgraded Mil Mi-171S helicopters.

The commander of the unit assumed operational task on 1st November 2010 to serve with his staff at Paktika for three months.

The Unit is located at the US Forward Operation Base Sharana in the Paktika Province.
