Reconnaissance and Electronic Warfare Branch

The Reconnaissance and Electronic Warfare Branch of Ministry of Defence is the intelligence staff of Chief of the General Staff of Armed Forces of the Czech Republic.

It is a policy-making authority for development and management of the elements of intelligence, reconnaissance and electronic warfare, military geography and hydrometeorology of the Czech military, management of personnel and means of ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance).

The head of the Reconnaissance and Electronic Warfare Branch of Ministry of Defence is Director of the Branch who directly reports to Chief of the General Staff. He is immediately superior to all members of the Branch of Reconnaissance and Electronic Warfare of Ministry of Defence, and as well as, immediately superior to Director of Military Geographic and Hydrometeorological Office.
